YubiOn Portal implementations range from small to large scale deployment patterns.

Installation procedures are explained based on the assumption that you are using paid plans.

For small and medium scale implementation
Small-Scale Implementation Procedures
This procedure is for the administrators to perform the settings and PC setup for the YubiOn Portal site.
Small-scale implementations are recommended for the scale of one to around a few dozens of PCs which are within easy access of administrators.
This is especially useful for cases where the other users ability to change settings is limited.

Portal registration
[Administrator Action] Register for the YubiOn Portal. After registration, contact us to switch to the paid version.
Member registration / settings
[Administrator Action] Register users (members) and set your YubiKey up through the YubiOn Portal.
Installation
[Administrator Action] Install the software on each PC.
Service settings
[Administrator Action] Configure the service settings for two-factor authentication.
Medium-Scale Implementation Procedures
Through this procedure, the administrator only sets up the settings for the YubiOn Portal while the individual PCs are set up by the users themselves.
Medium-scale implementations are recommended for the scale of around one to a hundred PCs.
This is the best deployment procedure for remote work environments.
The Medium-Scale implementation procedure requires Windows administrative privileges for the end user to set up the PC.
If your end users do not have administrative privileges, consider a Small-Scale or Large-Scale implementation.

Member registration / Email notifications
[Administrator Action] Register the user for the YubiOn Portal and set up the email notifications.
Setup
[User Action] Change the password, register the YubiKeys, and install the software on the PC.
Service settings
[Administrator Action] Configure the service settings for two-factor authentication.
For Large-Scale implementation
Large-Scale implementation procedures
Through this procedure, the administrator installs the software through kitting or Active Directory, etc. on each PC and enters the required information for the batch of users on the YubiOn Portal's website.
Large-scale implementation is recommended for the scale of one to over a hundred PCs.
If you are considering implementation in bulk, this is the best procedure.
Large-scale installation procedures use the paid plan (Premium) feature.

Batch registration

PC auto setup
[User Action] The automatic setup is completed when the user logs on to the PC.
