This section describes how to use ATKey in YubiOn Portal.
ATKey must be registered with a PIN and fingerprint.
If your fingerprint is not registered in ATKey, please refer to “Register fingerprint in ATKey” to register your fingerprint.
This section describes the LED status when using ATKey.
The “ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model” used in YubiOn Portal has two operation modes, which can be distinguished by LED status.
LED is YELLOW ON - OTP output mode
This mode is used to output OTP. YubiOn Portal uses this mode.
LED is BLUE ON - FIDO2 mode
FIDO2 mode. YubiOn Portal does not use this mode.
When using ATKey with YubiOn Portal, make sure the LED is in the yellow lighted state (OTP output mode).
The mode can be changed by pressing the switch on the side of the ATKey main unit.
If it is in the blue lighted state (FIDO2 mode), change to the yellow lighted state (OTP output mode).
If your fingerprint is not registered in ATKey, please refer to “Register fingerprint in ATKey” to register your fingerprint.
Connect ATKey to the USB port and confirm that the LED is in the yellow state.
If the LED is lit blue, change the mode.
Touch the fingerprint sensor.
If fingerprint authentication is successful, the OTP is output.
If the fingerprint authentication fails three times in a row, the LED status turns red and authentication becomes impossible.
Remove the device from the USB port and plug it in again before authentication.
Please note that if three consecutive failures of authentication are made five times in a row (total of 15 consecutive failures), the key will no longer be available.
